Concluding Message to the Participants .......

There is no identity, culture without belonging. Identity without the awareness of belonging runs the risk of remaining abstract, just as belonging without a precise identity risks remaining empty and without orientation
  • By leading a simple life limited to the minimum necessary and not the maximum allowed.
  • By spending prolonged periods in prayer follo- wed by the various forms of service entrusted to us.
  • By preserving a heart that is open to every per- son without distinctions of class, race, or na- tionality.
  • By being willing to go where no one else wants to go. When all of this is lived in fraternal communion it is the ‘savor’ that confers value and beauty to our life and work. (General Minister Mauro)

Capuchin order wants live the charism vibrantly for which the experience of triune God has to be transmitted and translated:  study, preaching and evangelizing
The essential elements of  life, including study, are “inseparably interconnected, harmoniously balanced and mutually enriching
Study is indeed an essential part of our Capuchin  vocation
Constitutions and Ordinations speaks powerfully of the importance of formation
the Acts of the General Chapters
Study equips the brothers “for the doctrinal service of the Church and of all people” and calls them to “stimulate people’s desire to know the truth” (
It continues to be necessary in the Order: for teaching, for evangelization, for dialogue with the world and with cultures.
which is systematic, solid, critical, and open. Franciscan Capuchin study is a existential contemplative, communitarian , ecclesial , interdisciplinary , and, above all, apostolic study Contemplative study aids our vocation, purifies our soul and helps us fight temptation

As we give basic importance to study in our formation,
we also give relevant importance to the circumstances like local culture to develop capuchin culture
our context – global and local – affects our institutional, and complementary studies, and the continuing formation programs of the Province.
“Every truth, regardless of who said it, comes from the Holy Spirit”
Our study is centered on Christ, the Truth we have to know, live and preach today in the Church in different situations
Called to walk with the Lord
our teaching, preaching and ministering must be “a clear, unequivocal and direct proclamation” of Jesus Christ as the center of our ministry
