God speaks to us through the His Law practiced with Love

I still remember my classes of the first holy communion.....the nun who taught catechism and prayers was very strict and insisted that we should not break any commandment......She was strict because she wanted all of us to be good children of God and of our beloved parents....she said that we should not practice God's commandments and laws out of fear but out of love, in order to know, serve and love Him......she was insisting it all through our communion day.......

Even she was our there as a teacher for our Confirmation classes.....there she was as strong as before in her conviction that respecting laws and commandments brings peace and joy

She took the entire class for one day outing on the sea shore and there she told us that the entire creation and nature follows the law........they move according to the seasons.....they are faithful....even the sea and the waves.....all fall in line according to the set law and commandments.....

Today there is a little respect for laws, rules, regulations and even promises.....some of us who have promised to obey the constitutions .....we forget to even recognise its power and role in our life...they guide our steps.....they lead to us follow the Capuchin heritage and charism....
Follow the examples of those old good Capuchins for whom the rule and the constitutions were everything....they lived in harmony and peace.....fraternal life was always a top priority because they followed the constitutions......

When obeyed, followed and respected the Laws and the constitutions we will be like the rocky mountains......some rocks separate themselves due to the heavy rail fall.....but they are close to one another....support and hold on....never give up their connectedness and closeness.

The obedience to the law and rules makes us green and ever flowing like the water.....we becomes givers of good things to the others......the others come to drink from our wells of obedience to the law..
