20 Months Since we Visited our Missions in North East.....Arunachal Pradesh

The memory of St. Jerome, translator and interpreter of Scripture invites us to love the Bible, to study and to meditate on every page of the divine word, not excluding the hard tone as in today’s Gospel, which seems to evoke the severe character of the saint we remember today. Jesus warns strongly the cities of Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum because they have despised Christ and his disciples, even though they were the beneficiaries of his words and miracles. In many places, the superficiality

and coldness of the past have not disappeared twenty centuries later.
Only way to evangelise is education.....children very smart but have to walk a long way to go to school....
The people are very welcoming and hospitable.....though poor but willing to share all that they have

Br. Hugo.....mixing with children who are so loving and spontaneous....

Very much talented.....dance in their blood.....any moment willing to dance

A moment to share some good news with them

Oh.....caught unawares......youth waiting for the arrival

When you are in North East be like them
United we can do so much

 The future of Arunachal pradesh
Friars along with the village king...

The local customs are very strong.....

Happy Birthday to Br. Ivan, Vice-General Secretary and Happy Feast of St. Michael, Raffaele and Gabriel....Arch-angels...

The three archangels are the messengers of God in history: Michael, who is like God?, is the protector of people against the wiles of Satan. Gabriel, the power of God, is the one who announce the salvation of God, realised in the births of John the Baptist and Christ. Rafael, the medicine of God, is the traveling companion of Tobias and the doctor of his father. But, as Jesus said to Nathanael, the angels are heavenly witnesses of the Son of God. They are like a bridge between heaven, where the Son comes from, and earth, the place of the mission

Br. Ivan who is celebrating his birthday today, presided over the Eucharist this morning....we prayed for him and his family......he prayed for all of us...especially me and Raffale ....celebrating our Feast days......

He preaches well....a good short homily was the hallmark of today's eucharist......Ivan may God grant you long and healthy life...

Friars listen to the homily .....preached with unction and devotion....

The word of God broken and shared

Our Journey towards Heavenly Kingdom!!!!!!!!

Our purpose in this world, our daily journey and our ultimate destination is to enter God’s eternal life at his heavenly Kingdom. This predestined journey enables us to participate in God’s mission to constantly show kindness and love to others. Reaching our destination will have its share of adversities; hopefully we can say that “we have done some good on this earth.”

More than showing love and kindness, our challenge is this: How do we let other people realize God’s love and kindness? What will be ways for people to follow God?
