Br. John Arumai presented a power point presentation on the theme of economy and transparency. It was very well prepared with facts and figures. He made use of the constitutions and PCO documents to speak about the theme. The fraternal economy is what we need to promote. We are poor and we can still remain poor with what is necessary for our support and sustenance. It is a blessing when we are transparent and accountable. We have many young Friars who can definitely earn little that is required for our living and social work.

The general minister too added many points regarding the economic solidarity and taking up parishes in Europe and America. There is a danger to capuchin life and spirituality. What happens when the friar returns back to the province.
