Presentation by different 8 Groups

The groups that went into discussion came out to present their fruit. They were true to the questions given to them. The strengths and weakness were highlighted by all groups. Most of the groups were able to present the various faces of Indian capuchins in a positive way. Friars available for missions and other works. Mixed group of Friars a young and old, well qualified professors, common language  in India, not many a disobedience Friars. Ongoing formation programs planned and the participation by all is seen.

The weaknesses were not exaggerated but spoken out boldly by the groups. The resources of the Indian capuchins is not used but always looking outside the province. There is a little lack of witnessing the capuchin charism. Lack of senior Friars. There is a tendency to compare ourselves with the other religious orders. Lack of commitment, a obedience, belonging and preferential option for poor.

Priorities: common study houses to be developed. Franciscan capuchin spirituality is to be given importance. CCMSI could be a strong body and unite the provinces.
