Testimony By Fr. Pedro Opeka

He is originally from Slovenia but brought up in Argentina. He was moved by the Life of Jesus....to become a missionary....Madagascar....ready to go...really i did not want to go to mission in order to do something for the people so that they would be grateful but wanted to give myself.....i left Argentina with tears in eyes.....i was leaving with an Ideal....Madagascar to work with my hands....i wanted to work in the mission before the ordination....i saw a different people, language, culture....i had to start all over again....start from scratch....i had to be re-born....i had to give up my old clothes and adapt new life style....

Br. Pawal our official photographer and web master taking some photos...

Br. Sydney, the CPO secretary is making some important announcements for the delegates...
Br. Stefano is introducing the speaker....

Br. Ben welcomed the speaker for the afternoon...
Fr. Pedro spoke from his heart with passion...narrating his own experience about the mission...really worked for the people who lived on the periphery ......

A wonderful testimony of a great missionary...a lot of work done by this missionary...to change the lives of the people....

The first experience was dramatic...i went to the village and children came all around me....but the parents came and took away their children....
I played foot ball for the village parish.....they villagers invited me to play for the town...a white man was running there in the foot ball....the people had idea that white man was a noble man....never had to work...scored goals....we embraced each other....they were surprised to see a white man embracing the others.
