The Local chapter in the General Curia

The moment of local chapter is always a moment of sharing ones experiences and to be sharing the joys and sorrows that one experiences in his work at home or going around in the world.

Our local chapter here in curia is well planned and the agenda points are very fraternal ones. The participation is always lively and fraternal. The sharing is very spiritual and theological, sharing is practical and down to earth.

This evening at 4.30pm we began our local chapter with a reading of a text from our holy constitutions by Br. Raffaele and Br Carlo. There was a short reflection by three friars which created an atmosphere which motivated the friars to get into discussion.

We began with the minutes of the last meeeting and discussion on the same. The Guardian shared reflections and the decisions taken in the last local chaptr.

The agenda had a point about the external audit conducted by the Jesuit preist Fr. James. we discussed on point that the spirituality in the place of work which is explained in our constitutions.

Many friars shared their own expeiences and reflection what it is meant for them the spirituality in the place of work. we all have the need to be appreciated for one does. It may not be always that one waits for the appreciation but it has to be given which motivates the friar.

Every one seeks joy, haapiness, satisfaction and inspiration in ones own work. When one does not get all these points that means something is missing or the spirituality is not there or work is not God centred or mision centred. When one enjoys the work, then work becomes Mission.
