The General Council Ends.........We get ready for the New Provincial's Meeting at Frascati

The General council meeting got over yesterday evening. This morning we are free in order to do our letters and other communication. We had intense two weeks of meeting with a lot of agenda and points to discuss. As usual we had a fraternal and serene meeting. Yesterday morning the presence of the General economo and the promoter of solidarity added joy and a lot of information was shared by them.

On Sunday we all go to Frascati for the New Provincial's meeting. This year too the number is big and it is going to be a week of fraternal animation and sharing. The climate in Frascati is always wonderful and very cool......some of the provincials have arrived and are visiting their friars either in the college or in Italy....it is good that they visit and be with their own friars to know and talk to them.
This is the school of our new Bishop in LOLO in Congo...Br. Jean Bertin.....the diocese is very poor and the Bishop has to really start from the scratch......We will pray for him and the diocese.....the various projects that the diocese has will go on with the generous contribution and support of the benefactors and even Capuchin provinces.....

Children squating on the ground in the class rooms......the Bishop is speaking to them....Can we not provide a decent school building and other Material? I am sure we can....The call of Pope Francis to help the poor is still ringing in our ears...let is not stop ringing till we do something for these unfortunate ones...Education works miracles and wonders....Bishop Jean Bertin we are all praying for you....God is generous and Benevolent ......
