General Bursar and International Economic solidarity - Brs. Alejandro and Aklilu


Brothers Alejandro and Aklilu.....both work in unity and collaborate very we'll.....Alex is explaining the fraternal economy...

  • what have been the consequences?, Bad administration, disorganization, wrong decisions and investments, one person responsible for decades. 
  • services and ministers seen as source of power
  • guardians, parishes, school directors, shrines, social works etc.
  • treasurer seen as a powerful person
  • loans and debts, salaries not paid.
  • money is a fraternal Matter!!!
  • do we really care about the money
  • Instrument of communion or a cause of division
  • the administration of our resources should also be an expression of our fraternal life
  • provincial play an important role in safeguarding our way of life and transparency
  • you are the first called, with your own examples, to live and promote a fraternal economy
  • Recommendations: 1. Analyse: make an evaluation of all the jurisdiction. not only the curia all fraternities, parishes, social works need to be evaluated
  • what are your resources, potentials and opportunities
  • what are your debts, threats and risks? how much does your jurisdiction depend on subsidies?
  • how are your brothers living? is there equality or preferences? 2
  • 2. Organize: implement an appropriate accounting system which can province us with fast and reliable information
  • elaborate an economic manual 
  • 3. Plan: where you want to go as province
  • How and where do you want to be in 5 years
  • mission, evangelization formation, new vocatio

 Brother Clevar D'Souza, is the new custos of Japan. We are classmates in the capuchin order....from 1979 onwards....we are meeting after a long time.....
