Reached Guwahati, Assam, India

After a long and tedious journey from Rome to Guwahati we reached here safe and energetic to begin our fraternal visitation. We are not tired but feeling sleepy as the flights were in the night. I reached early morning by 2.30am at Delhi and Hugo reached at 6.30am. We both then took a flight from Delhi to Guwahati. Two hours flight and we slept all through. I got upgraded in Jet airways.

At the airport Br. Bastian was waiting to welcome us. He drove us directly to a close by friary called St. Joseph where they have a school and a boarding. There are about 35 boarders coming from different tribes. We had lunch with the friars. They are only two of them. Along with the sisters the friars run the school which is English medium. There are about 800 students unto Xth Class.

This evening we have a meeting with the friars. There will be about 15 friars coming together. Both of us will address them and then celebrate Eucharist along with them. One of the friars is celebrating his birthday.
