Br. Mauro, general Minister has practically visited the entire Order in various parts of the world. We are present in 106 countries and there are some more countries which he has not visited. He has a strong desire to visit all these before 2018. He undertakes long and tedious journeys to visit these places. Every friar in the world waits for the visit of the General Minister and of course the councilors too.
He left last night along with Jean Bertin. They will be there for two weeks for visitation. Let us continue to pray for both of them. Pray that they will have good journey as well as good health. It is not easy to adjust with climate, food, bed and timinings. May the Lord and our Blessed Mother be with them.
The other councilors too are slowly leaving for their respectives areas. Sergio left for Brazil on Saturday as he to conduct a provincial chapter from today onwards. Raffale left this morning to visit a province in Italy. Mark, Victorious will leave this week for their areas....Hugo and me will leave on 1st February for Assam, North East. The vicar general will be here for some times.
Br. Luis Eduardo returns too after his vacations from Colombia. He needed these vacations after a hard work in the curia.
