Transitus service in General Curia

Br. Willy remarked that the chapel was filled with the capuchins because all wore the habits, normally for morning and evening prayers not many who wear habit and come. This evening being the occasion of Transitus all of us wore the habit. it was very good celebration with hymns and the account about the death of St. Francis. Br. ANTONIO BELPIEDE read with emotions and feelings, after which there was a long silence which helped us to meditate and reflect on the passing of our beloved father Francis. The short homily but fully loaded with messages of two passages in the life of  st. Francis, preached by our vicar general. It was very much inspiring and touch one. He quoted the great Dante in his homily and concluded with a beautiful prayer. He is a good preacher.

Br. Helmut joined us for the transits...Brother you are welcome always......
Vicar General with two brothers processed to the Altar with burning lamps.....as the friars sang a hymn
Brothers Pio, Hugo and Clayton...getting ready for the hymn to be sung...

Br. Antonio reading the account on the passing of St. Francis.....he was emotional too....

Vicar General Stefano preaching a short homily on the life of St. Francis....he is a Franciscan scholar studied in Antonianaum. There are many in Curia who have studied in Antonianum with Licenza in Franciscan spirituality
Friars listening to the homily of vicar general
Br. Raniero Cantalamessa was present for the service. His presence made the service more meaningful......Br. Charles and Br. Luis fully into the service
