Wonderful and unique celebration

Small Pietro one of the earliest guests with his Dad. He was the centre of attraction of everyone
Many of our people who work for us go unrecognized sometimes. We pay them and then forget. If they are made part of our life and celebration, they feel part of our community. This morning 102 workers who worked for the renovation of the curia for the period of two years were invited for Lunch. It was a day of gratitude, May of them came with their families. They were happy and joyful to be with us and hear being appreciated and thanked for the work that they did with devotion and passion. One expressed to the General minister that he is retiring next year and never in his life he had such a celebration where they were appreciated and thanked.
They started arriving as early as 10Am and then at 12pm we began the service. They were shown a video of the work done by them. The young and old were so happy and contended to see their work come to a completion.
The Lunch was simple but in abundance. The various dishes prepared were appreciated. more than the food it was the presence of the friars who mixed with them. The friars were serving and speaking to them as if they were part of our life.

Friars Damien, Erivian and Victorius.......are ready to serve the guest....look at their million dollar smile
