Are you surprised and shocked to read! But it is true! Br. Sergio is a son of a Diocesean priest. After the Death of his wife he devoted his time for the Church and even as a married man. He, as a widower had more time and energy to devote to the mission of Christ. He enrolled himself for seminary studies and got ordained as a deacon and then Ordained as a priest.
Today he celebrates his 96th Birthday, hale and hearty. Br. Sergio speaks to him every and now then. He celebrates Mass along with his children. Br. Sergio when he is down in Brazil celebrates mass with his "Dad Priest". We call Sergio lucky friar to have a dad who is priest.
