Address of the General Minister to the Participants

Ø  General Minister speaks – thanks for coming, welcomed in all languages

Ø  Constitutions and ordinances are approved, which says every two years the meeting of presidents

Ø  Order present in 107 countries, many cultures and color we need to maintain unity in the order, such meeting can promote unity in Order

Ø  Sense of fidelity, how best can we live our capuchin charism in all parts of the world

Ø  There are rhythms in the order, other realities are increasing

Ø  Provinces with vocations and provinces with no vocations

Ø  The friars are available for the rest part of order, especially India, who have ordinations and friars are available, they have no sufficient work

Ø  To have openness towards Asia and Africa friars to work in Europe and America

Ø  Provincialism is on rise,

Ø  Responsibility towards the others, let us think of rest of Europe

Ø  India is also in the same line like Europe and America, India needs to come together, develop an idea of sharing, opportunity to dialogue, we have 500 friars ready to send to the rest part of the world.
