Local Chapter of Curia Fraternity

After Every General Council Meeting the Curia fraternity celebrates the Local Chapter. It is a moment of celebration and sharing our ideas and richness. This evening we gathered together in one of the small halls of the Collegio for the local Chapter. The Guardian led us into prayer by inviting all the members to pray a Psalm 139. After which he invited the general Minister to announce certain decisions of the General council meeting. The General Minister did this with joy and with a sense of being the elder brother in the fraternity. The Guardian made some announcements for the fraternity.

We then went ahead to conduct election for the fourth councilor in the fraternity. Br. Umberto was elected in the third scrutiny as the councilor.

We then took up the Vademecum of General Curia for revision. The house was divided into five groups and each one had to take two chapters each for reading and discussions. The groups were asked to make suggestions for improving and revising the Vademecum.

The groups went to various rooms to discuss and time alloted was about 45 minutes. The groups seriously read and made suggestions. Each group had a secretary who read out the suggestions and the Guardian took the note of it.
The chapter came to an end around 7.15pm
