Feast of St. Joseph Cupertino

Like St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph of Cupertino lived a simple and humble life. Right from his birth he had experienced a simple and poor life. His Father was a very generous man but his generosity was too much and at the end he could not even pay his debtors so police would come in search of him During one of the visits of the police who entered his house and the mother of Joseph who was then pregnant ran from the house to escape from the tortur of the police. She gave birth to Joseph in a stable. St. Joseph was known for miracles and as a flying saint. He had to go through a lot of suffering but with his faith in Christ he was able to cope up and live his Franciscan call to the perfection.
Our Vicar General Br. Stefan celebrated the Holy Eucharist as he completes 30 years of his Capuchin commitment. In his short reflection he shared that we need to be ourselves, know yourself well. Life is a project and in this project we have to include the Lord Jesus who guides us. We need the walk with Jesus in this project which can be joyful only when he is with us.
We wish and pray for Br. Stefan a Happy Profession Day.
